Winter X-treme day 3 and ride home

So we wake up and take a shower, leave and eat breakfast and I order a Blue Berry waffle and got what you might think a blueberry waffle was. Afterwards we left there for our last meeting for the trip, and finished up there. Our youth group was going to a mall in pidgeon forge. Me and my friend went to the hotel and got our wallets, phones, and boarded the bus. We rode to pidgeon forge and went shopping all day, it was pretty boring, and there wasn't much of interest but there was The Fudgery which was cool, the guy gave out free fudge that he had just made, and he showed us how he made it. I bought some vanilla fudge. and after that we wandered into a Leather store with everything 60% off of 20% off. I bought a new wallet for less than $10.00 that was originally $40.00. and for lunch I ate at Olive Garden. when we finished up at Olive Garden we headed for the bus. when we got back we had no meeting because the mornings had been the last. So me and my friends wandered Gatlinburg ate at Burger King and went to the Space Needle. and the ride home the next morning was just napping and music so theres nothing to tell.

Winter X-treme Day 2

Day 2, we wake up, grab our stuff, and leave for breakfast. Now here's the deal, you share a hotel room with two other people, my friend and his Dad where my roomates. They were who I went with most of the time. So we walked down to a restaurant and had our Breakfast. I ordered a bacon waffle, and got a waffle with a piece of bacon sitting on top. I thought that was kind of a rip off. So we ate and left there for our meeting. They had our speaker Josh McDowell speak and a band called Uninjured play. After that we were free untill 7:00 that night 'till we come back for the next meeting. So we wandered the streets having a snow ball war with me, my friend, his dad, and his friend. we all walked home with wet jackets, busted butts and laughing. after we dried off, we went out to dinner at Bubba gumps Shrimp Co. (Image NOT Mine) ate and left. after the ground being slushy all day, things were freezing and it was getting darker. So we went on to the meeting slipping and sliding... And had my favorite christian band Skillet, play. They had a awesome concert. Afterwards we went to the hotel and made Winter X-treme history! we had a bunch of our people that me and my friend know and we recorded the first X-treme Fights we had a set wrestling match between some of the people that wanted to wrestle, and eventually everybody was squashed (litterally) by the champ whose name I can't release. but thats the end of day 2.

Winter X-treme

Most of you dont know what Winter X-treme is. So I will tell you, it is a holiday even from the 27th to the 29th for youth groups from all over the country. They have the best christian bands and the best speakers come and speak to all of the youth. There are over 6,000 people that come, both adults and youth. It takes place in Gatlinburg, TN which is basically an amusement park city with all kinds of rides and food.
Now for how my trip went. I spent the night at my friends after visiting my uncle on the 26th. Where we proceeded stayed up till about 12 'o clock knowing we had to be up at three. When we woke up we had deer meat patties on biscuits with jelly with his dad; who was going with us. We all waited on our ride (a mutual family friend) who was 10 minutes late because he spilled his coke at his house... We left for the church (my friend and his family live right across the street from the church so it wasn't far) and got in the charter bus that would take us 541 miles to our hotel on the main strech of Gatlinburg. We made all of our lunch stops and out snack/bathroom stops. the ride was pretty uneventful... so we got there about                6 'o clock and proceeded to check in. But when the bus tried to pull into the parking lot you've got to remember that thing was huge so it started to slip down hill and the driver is on the gas keeping us in the same spot! He backed up a little bit and got on some solid ground and so we went around the city in the bus again which even though its a small city it is a 20 minute ride around because it is a tourist attraction. We finally got there and pulled into the parking lot and unloaded our stuff and went to the convention center slipping and sliding the whole way because there is about of 6" of snow everywhere and ice on the side walks after we got there mercy me started playing music and since you all know how much I love the Beatles' music I will tell you that the first song they played was Revolution by the Beatles. so they proceded to play some good Christian music and then we left to order pizza at the hotel. And thats the end of day 1.

The pic below is some of the first snow that we saw on the way up there is about a inch of snow there. at about burmingham AL.

Wheats wheats wheats...

As you all know I collect coins. I do collect all American coins, BUT I love wheat cents, (or pennies either will do, but the actual term is cent, it changed in the late 1700's shortly after we got our independence. And it went from pennys British, to cents American, but the name penny stuck.) ok any way! I collect them and have alot, and I mean alot I have around 250 wheats. And I now buy them by the roll. I also have some very cool older cents such as a 1860 Indian Head Penny I mean Cent.

Georgia pictures

These are pictures I took in Georgia, in the Wild Animal Safari it is located in Pine Mtn. georgia. All pictures were taken out of a beat up minivan painted like a zebra. The windows were removed and bars put in place, in 2 pictures you can see the bars. They were put there so you can feed the animals through the window. The vans were actually rentals and you could drive through with your own vehicles, it would not be smart with all the antlers, horns, slobber, and BIG territorial animals! But these are my pictures, please enjoy!
