Hi Kiddo,
Did you know you can grow sweet taters, too? They make nice houseplants and will sprout quickly. Also you can take an avocado seed and grow that into a tree. Maw Maw T used to do that and they are really pretty plants. They take a long time to sprout. Remind me to tell you how Maw Maw T grew hers in a jar with water to start.
