The cent, so insignificant.
yet so proud, showing the great Abe Lincoln.
has changed many times, and was mighty apon one time.
The cent, the cent oh so small, showing is weats, its memorials, shields and wreaths.
the great lincoln on the front, the indian and the eagle.
The cent oh so insignificant.
(PS can aunt Rebecca read this to uncle wilson?)

Great Poem...Gramps
Guess we have another poet in the family, huh?

Gavin,
As soon as I get home to NC, I'll read your poem to Uncle Wilson. I know he'll love it!
Uncle Rich and I are in Altoona, Pennsylvania working at Penn State. It's cold here--only 50 degrees today! Brrr!
Love,
Aunt Rebecca
Hi, Gavin,
I read this to Uncle Wilson and he said, "Thanks for the poem. It was very cleverly written. You have real talent! You can be proud of yourself." I liked it, too!
Love,
Aunt Rebecca
