12 More Days Of SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (NOT counting weekends)
yup it is nearing an end, I will wake up in 3 weeks on monday morning and go sit on the couch, rather than at the school table. I have enjoyed this school year, and have enjoyed sonlight, I will be doing it at half pace next school year, to make it last 2 years. In the second year of the next core I will also be doing Mississippi history. Then in 9th grade i will finally go into american history again!!! but much to my shigrin I will be doing 45 minutes a day (on math) through out the summer.

I feel your pain about the math! But do yourself a favor and learn as much math as you can. I struggled with math throughout various courses I had to take, including statistics, which was required to graduate. It was not hard math (algebra mostly) but I had a much harder time with the class. It wasn't that I wasn't smart....just not very good at math and never understood the basics. So go ahead and knuckle down and learn it now! Believe me, you'll be happy you did.

I really didn't enjoy arithmetic in school--it felt like a long and boring bunch of facts I had to memorize. Things changed completely when I got to algebra, though--then math became a game I could play or puzzles for me to solve, and I love games and puzzles. You and I are enough alike that I'm betting it will work that way for you too...and at the rate you're going in school you should be getting to algebra pretty soon if you're not already there.
