Camp conquer 2010

I had fun at camp this year. we went to fort bluff camp, and slept in rooms that litterally looked and felt like prison! or as my friend said concentration camps. We got up and ate the we went to worship ( church camp ) after that we hung out and went for lunch. We had a dining hall with all kinds of antequities. the camp was litterally on the top of a mountain, if you looked out any direction at the edge of the camp it was downhill!!!!! There were many trails with secret caves that me and my friends found, yay!!!! one had a tunnel that we found the exit to, we saw the cave then found the exit hole above ground right beside the cave. The trails were rough, but still fun, we made it about 20 feet from the bottom of the bluff drop, but we had to go, we almost fell several times because of the steep hills. They litterally were at a 50 degree angle. We had to get up something that took 20 minutes to get down in 10 minutes! the bluff had a great view of the other mountains and the city at night. we found several naturally made platforms near the bluff that no one esle found! the worship leader was the best one ever and the minister was the best one ever Jimmy Needham (music), and wade morris (speaker) he is funny try looking them up on youtube. try looking up "wade morris camp" on Youtube.

Hi Gav,
I am so glad you had fun at camp. Some of the best memories of my youth are the times I went to camp. We swam, told ghost stories, hung out, went to Vespers, made stuff, sang camp songs, flirted with the boys, hiked, ate CAMP food (ugh!) and generally had a blast. That's how it should be! Fun and things to look forward to each day. Of course, I am sure you're glad to be home to your bed, too. It's definitely NOT concentration camp bedding. I can't wait to see you so you can tell me all about camp in person.
Love,
Grammy

Oh and one more thing. It was at camp that I learned the joys of dumping a sleeve of peanuts (salted) into a bottle of cold Coke or Dr. Pepper. Yum! Tasty. You should try it some time. :-)

Sounds like you had a great time. I bet it was fun exploring the caves. And you didn't see any animals? A bear? Thanks for sharing.
